Thread: City Navigator Singapore/Malaysia NT 2011.40

Those people using traffic adapter with this map, please note that traffic will not work and you will not see the icon in the map view.

I sent garminSG an email on this already, see what is their reply.

Had me pondering why my traffic suddenly disappear for the last 2 days....

You are right.. I was wondering. When I select the traffic icon in setting - there is the Singapore traffic option. I selected it but still have the same problem.

Am going to go back to the old version and see if the problem still exists.

When you go back... the traffic icon comes back....
Hope we dont have to wait until 2012.10/20/30/40 for this to get fixed!!!!

Have you heard back from Garmin regarding this issue and how did you revert back to the old map?

The sg local office navicom just called me back this morning, they tested using their 2575R with a GTM35 connector and it works for the traffic....

Hmmmm.... i will revert mine and see if it works with the GTM25... else probably will get a GTM35 locally and check again... damn garmin for making this so difficult....

I am using 2565 with GTM35 and it does NOT work.

Which model are you using? I am using the 1460 and I am wondering if the 14xx and 13xx series support for SG traffic was removed? Technically, the 2x5 series can see Singapore traffic - but it is also not shown although the traffic icon shows the Singapore frequency. I had always thought it was the firmware - but now am thinking if it was the map embedded with a code.

Which garmin traffic adapter u using?
Navicom tested with GTM35 and it works....hmmmmmm

Good to know they are responsive. Since they are working in - can you let them know that the road for Central Blvd Singapore (1 raffles quay) to the ECP is outdated as the road has changed.

May I suggest to remove "clear names"?
