My nuvi 2360 being a LMT I have life map and trafic updates, so the CN NA 2013.10 comes from Garmin. I've installed an unlocked France map from Usenet, part of CN EU 2013.10 and I also installed CX EU 2012.40 full from another thread in this forum. CX EU 2012.40 shows up in MyMaps, and Public Transportation is available as an option for routing, at least in Paris, where I've checked, in GPS simulation mode. It also works, because it routed using the metro and buses.
I wonder if the CX EU works because it is version 2012.40, closer to 2013.10 or because the France map is unlocked?
