    Default JCV File and Folder

I just downloaded the latest JCV D3060030A.jcv. In all my previous installs I always place the jcv file inside the JCV folder in my main memory. My European maps in my SD card with the jcv file inside the JCV folder inside the SD card also. Is this correct for this version also? As I am in Europe at the moment there is no way to test this.

Also, maybe someone knows the answer to this. While driving in Europe I find that I don't see any Junction views. Might this be caused by where I have the JCV file for the European maps?

    correct path is :sd\Garmin\JCV.
You can test setting your position on map in NA and simulating with your gps off

For those of you who have placed the large JCV file (D3060030A) onto the SD card....

Did you comletely remove/delete the JCV folder from the internal unit memory?

Or did you just delete the JCV file and leave the folder intact so you have a JCV folder in the main unit memory AND on the SD card as well ?

Or is the only place you have the JCV folder and file SD card ?

    Thanks

When you say, "correct path is :sd\Garmin\JCV.", do you mean whether you are using NA and Europe both or only one? The JCV file only belongs on your SD card? And substitute the appropriate JCV file for whatever continent you are in?
    Thanks

I think you can have both in sd ,coz every JCV file belongs to its own map and should work with it

Dear Catymag, you are right. I made trials with CN Europe and CN North America (both 2012.20) and the respectives JCV files, all in the SD card, and works fine on my Garmin nüvi 1200 with patch. Maps on \Map\ and JCV files on \Garmin\JCV\.
