Aironfoo told they will reinforce each other if both turned on?

Ok, I don't understand why Aironfoo mentioned to me that it will indeed work and actually both maps will reinforce each other. I haven't tried it yet but I'm hoping somebody with experience can confirm this.

Also, out of topic a bit, what are DEM maps, time zone maps, and 3D maps (all of these in .img files)? What happens if I delete them?

The maps behave like layers in Photoshop, Garmin City Navigator map has priority 30 ,Road guide has 31 and probably it will cover up the CN (as the coverage overlaps) unless you turn it off, but it can depend on typ and transparency. RG isnt transparent- You can try and see- But even if they show up both ,two routable maps of the same area could be really confusing-
In some outdoor device priority and layering act differently, but it depends on maps and profiles-

Is the search address in 1.24 accurate? I tried searching an address with a house number but it doesn't exactly pinpoint the house. It just leads mo the street itself but isn't too much accurate on determining the exact location of that specific house number. Is this normal?

This is normal. The location of a house number within a road segment is interpolated from the house numbers of the road segment's two end points. So far, only City Navigator Taiwan has additional map data which can pinpoint a house number accurately.

Ahh, so house numbers are interpolated. I thought they are recorded based on real-world location on the maps. So with searching for house numbers and following the GPS isn't too reliable?

In layman's terms, the GPS seems to like "guess" house numbers only? Can't we add the house numbers data in the map itself?

Is the Philippines map also accurate in detecting one-ways especially in Makati?

The interpolated location found by address search should be close to your real destination, at least on the same road segment as your destination. So following the directions of navigation software should still take you to where you want to go, just double check the house number when you arrive.

If the map is in OF format, you may be able to add a particular house number and recompile the map. But I never tried this before. It is out of the question if the map is in NT format. In either case, one thing you can try is to find the exact location through Google Map's street view, if available, then add a waypoint (with coordinates of the location found) to your navigation software as destination.
