the roads are much smaller, but it works for me, downloaded from other forum . . . .

Downloaded it to my 260W and looks like it is working. It was able to map a route from my house to a resort in Nasugbu, Batangas. The road tracings though are very small. Very hard to see when the gps is in nighttime mode.

It works but street search no longer works also as mentioned streets are very small now (like the old style rg free maps).

POI search works.

Yes, cannot search street rejecting and self inquiring of POI search normal

Change the original TYP file to this one before installing into mapsource

The poster likely used garminunlocker to unlock it. A side effect of garminunlocker is that it messes up the search for street functions.

Until someone posts a mapsource version this is simplest way to distribute the map. I for one am happy at least that routing works. Routing is much more important than street searching(for me).
