How does this work? Im using a Nuvi 265WT, extracted the file and placed it in SD card and loaded the system but nothing worked?

Hi,
I've a question. Why can I no longer update from garmin's website? This is my only updates that I did for the City Navigator.
My guess is that map updates is free only for a limited period of time?City Navigator Singapore/Malaysia NT MAP 2010.30 2010/09/04

Have you read Garmin map updates policy in myGarmin ?
It depends if you have onetime or lifetime-
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Unlock by yourself, the links are from Garmin and its hard to believe they would offer unlocked maps

When the map is locked so you will see no map detail within the map area.
