Hi, I try to update the nuvi 1460 using the type3.exe and I received the error "can't find the unlock record" during the setup, how to resolve this error ? Please advise!

Me too, i update my Garmin Asus A10 used the type3.exe. same error message "Can't find the unlock record"

How did you do update?
By putting the .IMG file into unit ?
