firstly you must enable hidden folders in windows:
When you start windows explorer ,click tools,folder options, select the view tab then put the dot in 'show hidden files and folders' also make sure there is a check mark in 'display contents of system folders' -
After that put the folder you downloaded, like it is ,in Garmin map folder
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps)
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Maps)
in mac
the maps themselves reside in a directory at: /Users/(your username on your computer)/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps
If it's locked run on it this tool
