Thank you for all the help! It's working smooth now. By the way I have a question, I heard about nzopen gps project. Is it worth using their software or using this one is better? Just a query. Merry Christmas!

I have a kenwood KNA-G430 GPS Navigation system hooked up to my Kenwood DDX6039 Monitor and DVD Receiver in my car. I had it installed about 3 years ago. With ageing maps, I figured I would hunt around for an update on the net and came across this site. I downloaded the Garmin City Navigator 2011 - 2.0 NT maps for Australia & New Zealand and I am now up-to-date, ready to tour Australia! For anyone who is interested, this is how I got it work ... I labelled a new 2GB SD Card (to fit into my KNA-G430 unit) with the name, '10-10762-10' just like my previous card. I created a folder in the SD Card named 'garmin' into which I copied the image of the Garmin maps, 'gmapsupp', that I downloaded from the link at the beginning of this thread. Works a treat. Have not encountered any problems yet and hope not to. Many thanks to all that have contributed to this wonderful community.
