Garmin uses GMAP format now for both Windows (MapSource) & Mac (MapManager). It's possible to convert to old img format with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and the other way with Garmin MapConverter.

The normal PATH for Garmin GMAP maps is "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GARMIN\Maps" (C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps).
The normal PATH for Garmin MapSource maps with img map tiles is "C:\Garmin\".
