The no. of Cities Covered in the CN NT 2010.30 is Less when compared to the MMI V4.01 posted thro your megaupload link.
But NavTeq (NT) maps are the most Accurate maps available for what ever areas they are covering. They cover Less areas per city - but accurate in what ever they cover.

MMI V4.01 is Quite Outdated as of now, As it was first released in Late 2009.
MMI V5 was available for Garmin for quite sometime, but no one could get hold of one.

CN NT 2010.40 Map is also out for a few months now, but not available in any forums where i have checked.

Let us wait for someone to release both these maps.

I did download City Nav India 2011.3 about 229 mb in size. Used fast img unlocker 2.1. After a few minutes of processing it did show City Navigator India all ....

Afterwards used gmaptool to split the image so as to create a mapsource file. However it doesnt load properly on mapsource.

Mapsource says an error occured and would I like to report the same to Garmin.

Any help?

The GMapTool details shows a locked "City Navigator India NT 2010.30 ALL" mapset with MapID 2309.
Map data created around August 19-25, 2010.

City Navigator India NT 2010.30 is created by NAVTEQ for garmin device. So, we can guess that total coverage is up to 25/08/2010. Like you can pull out detail from navteq.

You can run keygen for unlock this map.

run garmin keygen 1.5

get your garmin XT Software Unit ID: (go to "About" in Garmin XT)

enter custom map ID 2309 in the keygen after inputting the Software UID
click generate

copy the generated key to a file called "gmapsupp.unl" (the 2010.30 file has to be named gmapsupp.img) to your garmin directory.

and the map is unlocked.

been using GPS for a while now had tried every thing mentioned still for some reason could not get to unlock this map,nevertheless from some other forums used the Fast img unlocker now it ok
