    Catymag.....thanks so much for the ever so prompt replies. I apologize for being so "blonde", although I am trying and thanks to the group LEARNING. Still want to be certain for the correct placement for the .gpi file when using the SD micro disk and alsow having the map on the actual drive of the Garmin (Nuvi 1300 is a mere 2gig...imagine that....)....

    Is this the latest Garmin routable map for Costa Rica?

    Additionally, some knows how do I install a map on a Nuvi 265W? I have not used my GPS for a while, but something went wrong and I have to install everything again, however I cannot recall the way to do it. Thanks!

    Hi, I would like to know this if someone knows how to capture their signal!

    Issued in May 2012. At the moment, it is the recent most map.

    @axxxtw
    Place your *.gpi files in a folder named POI directly in root of either sd or 1300, or in Garmin folder of sd. As with the Map folder you can have a Poi folder on both, but the 'poi' folder name is not case sensitive like 'Map' folder.

    Edit: Sorry Caty, didn't see your reply over page

    Thanks to Neil and catymag.....I'm pretty sure I get this mother loaded for bear! VERY anxious to give it the test and hope it don't go all bad once I'm there. I'll be toast......"Dead Meat".....to quote the kid in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

    This forum has got to be one of the most pleasant, helpful places I've ever been in. I want to help to the extent I can. As I noted, I have Lifetime updates to USA North America and when it comes time for the next update (any day now I do believe) just tell me what I need to copy and paste and I'll upload to somewhere so all can use. Thanks so much again.
