My GPS's preloaded Basemap is just "Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR" not including any version no. I've already downloaded "Garmin Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap NR 5.01" and curious to know it is more accurate or more perfect than preloaded one. Preloaded "gmapbmap.img" is directly under C:\Garmin folder. Do I need to unlock the 5.01 map if I want to use on my Computer and GPS? Or just replace the old gmapbmap.img file with new one? Thank!
