iGO looks different with different skins, but skins are for program and not for maps
What is "it" in your question?

Garmin and Igo maps are Navteq maps (Nokia), I dont think there is so much difference in maps compiling-

the problem is IE, please use firefox on noeman
I downloaded it with IE and i had your problem, no problem with FF

how do we convert the folders and files in the winrar to a gmap file/img file much appreciated

i installed mapsource but it wont automatically recogniose the map can someone please help

use a new patched mapsource

you cant see IMG files in mapsource, if unlocked copy it directly in your gps- you can see it in an sd in basecamp if you copy it in a garmin directory, but it need a lil tweak-
run on the IMG gmaptool program ( Join option)

Sorry to bother you, can please tell me what i have done wrong here (first time i try to do update the map this way)

1. I downloaded Mapsource V6.16.2. Installed ok (thank to your trick) then overwrite with patched file.
2. I the copied the updated map the folder under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
3. Unlock the map using unlock_gmap
4. When I opened Mapsource again, i can see the Map is unlock, but i can't do anything.
