all one more question. I bought my GPS from us so i think it has US basemap. I've seen basemap 3.03 unlocked around this forum. can i change the basemap to Australia , is that possible?
hmmmm...I seem to be getting an invalid DLC error in JD, am I missing something?
BTW>> thanks for the files.

Thanks man, I thought it has US basemap rather than worldwide because when i check online on Garmin site for updates it tells me about updates for american maps, even though i've already have put Australian maps in the gps! maybe it just checks by serial number of the device and knows its US model?
If you zoom out and see no map in you region, then you should replace gmapbmap.img on device, but anyway you could backup old file and try new one, just copy old one to PC and overwrite with downloaded
seems to be ok, i just zoomed out and can see my region. One last questionTHe junction View fiile/lane assist is it possible to update it from garmin? i assume it gets updated frequently!
also I have a Garmin 765T, i was just simulating a route which includes some junction view pictures. I noticed How laggy garmin runs it , sometimes the whole map would go black and then come back after 2 seconds or so. is it because it is simulating the drive?
Which program, JDownloader or CryptLoad, would you recommend for use under Linux (I'm using Fedora 13)?
Any idea how to install the recommended program in Fedora 13?
Thanks a whole bunch.
The JCV file is normally updated together with the maps. There is no extra update for JCV.
Do you run the card from the internal memory or from an SD-Card?
