    So I just put the .img file in the garmin folder on my storage card (called gmapsupp.img, as I already have North America 2011.10 named gmapprom.img)
    verify that it is offset corrected
    then, if not corrected, I put the .bin file in the same location as the .img file
    restart garmin and it should be corrected?

    When I return home do I need to remove the .bin file to use my north america maps?

    Sorry, I've read that first post a few times and it's all still clear as mud for me.
