Hi,
I'm not guru, but maybe I could give you some hints.
I don't like extensive writing, so install Garmin Mobile XT from here:
http://www.gpspower.net/navigation...-5-00-20w.html
and then install unlocked IMG from first post as described.

As far as there is a version of the program "Garmin Mobile XT" for your device - you can use almost any Garmin maps on it.
Just check google for "garmin xt blackberry storm" and see if there is a version of this mapping program for your device.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Blackberry Storm has a protection mechanism (protected architecture to interface with local storage) that stops BB Storm to use any local maps interactively. The only way out at present is to use garmin mobile for BB (with only US maps). To use India maps in BB Storm, one has to subscribe to external 3rd party service that will calculate the location using GPRS data plan to draw map that is actually residing on a 3rd party server. Local copying of unlocked gmapsupp.img will not work. Hope this helps. Thanks.
