I was able to download part 6 of the complete Mapsource installation. All is well! Thanks catymag for verifying validity of file.
Just to get back to everyone that has helped me out, I was able to generate the base map, GMAPPROM.IMG for my Garmin StreetPilot c330 patched so it can be used on any device. Due to the internal memory size limitation on the c330, 930MB, I had to generate the map for eastern US only. I created the supplemental map, GMAPSUPP.IMG with the full map (US & Canada) on the external 2Gig San Disk. Thanks susieQ and catymag!
