Catymag said this is v.11.5. I beleive that the latest map version is 12.0. And in January or so of 2011 Garmin should put out v12.5.

If you ordered it form a retailer, Garmin "should" allow you the update for free to the latest version within 30 or maybe 60 days of purchase.
