You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thanks for sharing these maps, its really hard to find new mapset for India.
But I dont think these maps are upgrade to "Garmin City Navigator India 2009 Quarter 4 " as these maps miss lot of POIs around my location also some places which were not their in 2009 Q4 are now marked.
But more dangerous thing is that these maps do not have some roads shown. I myself pointed out one, if you want to check than take a look around this point lat 26.890128, long 75.794038.
Not all maps show all POIs but missing an road which joins state highway to another road cannot be neglected. I deleted these maps and switched back to 2009 Q4.
@ manishk3008
thanks for the information. i thought of upgrading the map on my garmin xt mobile. now i will refrain from it
You are right. Even though the file size is almost double, I am from kerala and many roads in kerala are missing in the MAP. Garmin City Navigator India 2009 Quarter 4 is a stabel version, but has only 84 cities. This version has more cities, but some informations are missing. Anyway waiting for further update which solves all the issues.
Anyway, i really congragulate "catymag" briging these maps to us. really useful. Thanks and waiting for further update.
Could say little in-accurate when compared with Navteq Q4 or MMI - Sygic.
Tested on Chennai-Banglore Highway and was not up-to-mark when compared with the other 2.
Would stick with Sygic-MMI Maps for the time being and Garmin Navteq Q4.
I Feel Nokia Maps also has got an update and "Cities" folder size is approx 135MB now.
I am from kerala and these are some excellent maps for india. Thanks. Any update further?
Thanks...........
