It's position is fixed (location found by gps), and i can only zoom. But, when i go to options/browse map i can see the route, but i can also move the map to see what ever i want.

    Thanks

    P.S. I used this tutorial

Hi, my first post on here so be gentle with me!
I thought this was the way it was supposed to work, ie VIEW MAP is the navigation view and only changes by movement once a satilite lock is achived and BROWSE MAP is the one that can be panned and scrolled without a lock My 5800 works this way and so do the other Garmin Pda's I have.

This is exactly what i wanted to ask! Is it supposed to be like that or i did something wrong?! I have standalone NavNGo GPS, and on it i can always move map! This is very usefull becasue i can see route in advance... I also asked my friend who has nokia N95 and older version of garmin, he can move map from "view map" option
