Do you mean it's not re-writing the GarmimDevice.xml correctly on re-boot to reflect that old files have been removed? If so, there may be severe file system corruption requiring a proper re-format (use ONLY [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] with recommended settings from initial post of that thread), and only following a full successful backup of all files and folders including .System. If the internal memory cannot be properly re-formatted, then there may be a hardware problem with the flash chip.
