You underestimate my patience I may well follow your suggestion at some point when I can understand what it means. Like I said I'm a noob here but doing my best to correct that.

For now the problem has been resolved with those files GN sent me to put on the SD card.

Now I have a bit of a dilemna. My background (before I retired) was in cryptography and I have a history of reverse engineering various things and contributing to open source projects. I can sense there is some serious wizardry going on here and I'm more than a bit curious to know more.

I've also been on the receiving end of such questions from newbies where I was the wizard and I know how irritating they can be when I'm ridiculously busy.

So I can do one of two things here...

1. Be happy that the situation has been resolved and move on.

2. Fall down a rabbit hole and find out everything I can, devote the next X months/years of my life to this.

Dammit option 2 is awfully tempting.
