Are you doing this????
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card into your device and power on.
You hold the power button in till you see this on the screen.
Spoiler: You have to have this screen to turn off the Garmin......
You tap on off and wait till the screen is off.
Then put the SD card in and turn the Garmin back on again.
Post a screen shot that you turned off your Garmin to make sure you did it correctly.
