Yes of course, your explanation is totally correct. Thanks for the polite correction. I think you are a very kind person because I messed up rather badly by mixing up MSV and GSV for that device. I have no idea how I managed to do that because in the patcher's fw_list is this:

A good explanation of the effects or otherwise of GSV and MSV in Post 41 of the patcher thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Either way, your nuvi 3590 doesn't need the firmware patched. BTW, I see you said you're "using Europe nt 2018.10" in your 3590. The OEM and suggested map is NTU for that device and there are different ASR files for NT and NTU European maps. Your 3590 uses 'ASR2' files and I don't think they are even issued for the non-Unicode NT, only for NTU.
