F/w of nuvi 1xxx series and older is designed to work correctly with NT ( not NTU ) maps.
When using NTU maps you may encounter errors and glitches caused by address search during the routing.
Such models do not understand additional NTU maps files. Only NT additional files.

Not sd:\Garmin\MAP sub-folder
For models 1xxx series and newer :
SD:\Map folder 'any_name'.img
or
device internal memory: \Map folder 'any_name'.img
or
SD:\Garmin folder gmapsupp.img and gmapsup1.img ( one "p" in the end )

All *.db files from SQLite sub-folder must to store only on device internal memory in \.System folder.

The rest additional files can be written :
device internal memory:\.System folder
and
SD:\Garmin folder in the appropriate sub-folders.
