My mistake sorry I should of said that no SD card was in it when I tried to put it into preboot mode.. I was just saying I had SD 100% working & clean because of the comment by Vic777

You need to tell us clearly what you can and can't do. My current impression is this: (i) It can't read an SD card; and (ii) It can't attain either Mass Storage Mode or preboot mode via USB. If that's the case stop fussing with it and buy another unit because without SD card access or working USB it's useless.

When you said if it doesn’t have USB or it can’t read from SD card don’t fuss just go buy another unit that silly light went off in my head. Hey self why don’t you try changing the cable I did & I don’t think I need to tell you the rest of the story. I reloaded the maps & It’s working 100% perfectly now….

Ok, it was never 'bricked'. As said in Posts #2 & #7 it only needed to have a detail map loaded. Thanks for reporting back, we can now mark this thread as solved.
