Thank you all great forum & help I was busy & now going to try this & thank you CATMAG I was just looking to see if I had the fireware 7.80 & needless to say I didn't have it & now I do. Vic77 Thank you but I it doesn't let me do any of that. If you seen my screen shot I can only get off there by holding the screen for about 30second & it lets me out of there & yes I can get to main system & it still says that I need maps. I do thank you & very much I am going to take my chances on the cure I have all the tools I think & I am ready to give it a try. I will inform you all how it goes. Great instructions & if the tools do what they say they do I am sure I can get it done 20 plus years with computers & programs. I am sure if I don't get it the first try It will be because I I did something wrong..

How did you update to V7.80? Or do you mean you didn't have that version downloaded? You should use the version on the unit to make the cure if possible, check with G7toWin as Caty suggested as it will also show the version presently onboard as well as the HWID.
