Figured it out. I edited 2 places in XML file that contain old SW version 5.40, and replaced it with latest 7.50. GE is now able to proceed to update map step. Thanks for the hint.

Nice this is new for me lol, with GE old versions couldn't do it, It didn't accept edited garmindevice.xml
