You can use MapSource to open your GPX file with waypoints and do some editing so you can categorize them as you wish. First open MapSource open "Edit" tab - "Preferences" - "Waypoints Categories" and name the categories as you wish. I'm using BaseCamp. And can't find feature to categorize way points there. After I have installed MapSource and did "receive from device" no way points was found in MapSource. Other data like current track was received. I was thinking that BaseCamp replaces MapSource - I'm wrong?

I have created way point in MapSources with category and have downloaded into GPSMAP64s , but I can't find where I can select category in device.
