That will sometimes happen. Just keep trying and usually the flash will be accepted within a few goes. BTW, don't send the error report to Garmin obviously.

Tried atleast 15-20 times with the original RGN Tool, then the patched 0.84 tool (Suggested by Giomen) then with patched 0.87 tool. None worked.
Is it the problem with the timing of removing the finger from the top left hand corner?
The way i did:
1. Connect USB lead
2. As soon as the USB device details appear press ok
3. Press ok for "Do you want to replace your current software version with an older software version?"
4. "Loading Loader" message appears on the unit
5. "Loader" appears on the unit
6. Release the finger quickly
7. After few seconds the same error message appears - "There is a problem with this GARMIN application."
