    Default Blue chart and 76cx

I have a 76 cx and a borrowed blue chart micro sd card that works great. I copy card run garmingmapsupp.img which produces a unlocked image and a locked image. I remove the locked image from the original download and replace it with the unlocked image and copy to a new 256mb micro sd, install it in the unit and it does not recognize it. Remove it and reinstall the org sd card and it works perfect. I also copied a g2 vision with the same results. I have not read the entire forum but I have read many hours to find the solution with no results. Please help

Rename the unlocked BC .img to gmapsupp.img and copy in SD/Garmin.
Remove any .unl and .gma from sd that comes from the borrowed one, they are made for the other SD id.
The BlueChart g2 Vision card will work but will not display any of the BlueChart g2 Vision Features and would not be of any benefit over the regular non-vision BlueChart.

Removed .unl files and renamed img file to gmapsupp.img on 256 mb micro sd blue chart and g2 4 gb micro sd card. I have a 1 gb and a 2 gb coming as the 4 gb may be unreadable for this unit

There is no problem with 4Gb (and even 8Gb-16Gb) on the latest SW. But 4Gb is limitation for gmapsupp.img only!
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

Formated another card fat 32, copied unlocked image and no work. To be clear there should be only one file on the sd card the image file. Is this correct.

Got both working. Created new Garmin folders and copied the unlocked renamed image files and the gps recognizes both sd cards. The 4 gb appears to work fine. Thanks a load for the help. Boomer
