But I reckon he read it dasil, and just thought you were referring to his 1695 being as it followed my post #8 suggesting he try flashing the logo bin to his 5" unit and his #9 about flashing logo too. That's confirmed by his following post #11 where he was still referring to the 1695 with the stuck and corrupt logo image. I hadn't even seen post 10 until now sorry.
It was absolutely spot-on advice you gave for the miscreant 1690 though.
The reason I made Post #14 commenting about things getting confused and suggesting using quotes when following a post about the other unit was to try to separate the problems. I had already referred him over to the Logo bin thread in Post #8 attempting to separate the different problems with the 2 units for that very reason. We solved that one over there.
If he'd realised your post #10 was for the 1690 or if i had worded my later post better he'd have fixed it earlier. Thanks Dasil, full credit to you on the 1690 solution. I've put a note in mallard2's last post as acknowledgement.
