Ok, let me start saying thanks to everyone thats helping.
1. roger1109: I have downloaded and installed your map; disabled all others; restarted my device 7 times. I still don't get any POI's.
2. tiger555: I know about that; each time I install a new map, I replace it with the old one, so my GPS only has ONE map installed at a time.
3. dasilvarsa: I don't have the original map anymore...

The best thing to try at this stage is to download a small city navigator unlocked img. (single country)
copy it to the gps and see if the poi works.
I think you have a problem with your Mapsource installation.
Maybe a bad file or something like that.The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

Ok....test works with CNNTSA 2013.30 (my shortcut for CAR)
1) Tools>Settings>System>GPS Simulator>OFF>ON>OK
2) Where to?>Cities>Spell>ORLA>Orlando,FL>Show Map>Set Lo>Back.....
3) Where to?>Food,Hotels.....and choise your categories
4) screenshot available...but you test

PS:you must first set your location in GPS simulation (because I'm in Europe ... but maybe for you too)

You are a GOD! Now I get it and its working perfectly fine!
The thing is: I was trying to test my GPS inside my house and with the satellite turned off. I had NO IDEA it wouldnt show me the POI's because of that! Now I can see all of them! THANKS A LOT, MY FRIEND!
