You can then copy over whatever appropriate files which fit onto your unit's memory, and put the rest of the files onto an sd provided they are appropriate to go there (eg Maps & JCV etc).
i understood very well what Loly said
and in the past i did but this is not the point

i know Mapupdater on some device stores some files with a folder structure on the sd , and other files in the unit
i don't know which files and the directory structure(sub folder and so on) are stored in the sd , and i don't know which are stored in the unit

i can know only if some users will post the files and folder list on the sd

using a fake unit , i got all the files and folders on the usb stick or a sd but after , which files should i copy in the sd and which in the garmin unit?

thanks
