Thread: Gps problem after format

Hello

I have a garmin nuvi 2460. Today i wanted to put a new map on the device, so i did a connect of the gps to my pc and first i went to my computer and did a format of my nuvi. Afterwards i installed my new maps and turned on my gps. Now i have a blank map - i can type in destination and see the red line for the route but no details on the map at all. Also i use to have danish display language and danish keyborad layout, but when i connect my gps to webupdater it cant find any display language in danish for my device..

But i would really like to get the map problem fixed?? Im very sure its because i did a format of my nuvi. Any help would be appreciated

Where do you have map in what folder and how do you rename map?
If you dont have detail map then your CN is not recognized but you see only basemap (gmapbmap)
In folder System you must rename CN to gmapprom.img
