Interesting, but now I got confused...

I was told the Tracks, WayPoints, Routes, Custom Maps and the BirdsEye Images are on the MainMemory of the GPSMap62s always. The Maps only are on the SD Card, so I can NOT use the SD card itself for tracking data, or? And if so how?

In my case are 2 (two) Folders on GPSMap62s when I connect it to PC, Documents and Garmin:

    GPSMAP 62s(H) :

    Dokuments
    Garmin
    .VolumeIcon.icns
    autorun.inf

and in Documents are the Manual (PDF) files etc
Garmin Folder contains 10 other folder plus 8 files:

    BirdsEye
    CustomMaps
    CustomSymbols
    ExtData
    Filters
    GPX
    JPEG
    Profiles
    scrn
    Text
    (and 8 several files)

in GPX Folder are placed the whole Tracks, WPs, Archive, (and a "Current Folder") and in BirdsEye Folder are placed my all images (1.1GB)

All these things are, I thought, are placed in the main Memory, which is limited (I think 2GB, pls correct me), I have now 1.08GB in H disk total.

On the other hand the removable Disk J
has the only one Folder Garmin:
All my 3 Maps (total size 2.87 GB) are placed in here.

The tracks are here NOT seen, how can I put (redirect) the tracks and WPs to this removable disk?
Or are we talking from different things?
Even If I would have several, say 2 GB SD cards (which I have), how do I put the recorded data to removable Disk?
In GPX Folder are the whole Tracks, WPs, Archive, (and Current Folder)

Do I misunderstand something? Am I doing something wrong?

For Test purposes, I did remove the SD card from my GPSMap62s now, and it shows only the GPSMAP 62s(H) folder (no removable SD card with maps to seen)

It shows here, exactly still the same folders, files and the size exactly the same: 1.08 GB, as in the first place with the SD card. All my tracks and BirdsEye images are still there (without the SD Card).

As I have no JPEG etc, the main used space is in my case, Folder "GPX" (all Tracks, WP, etc) and the Folder "BirdsEye" (all Imagery)

So, what can help now the additional SD cards for freeing space for tracks and WPs, you have mentioned earlier, or do we misunderstand each other, pls advise.
    Thanks

P.S:: My SD card is 8 GB, and I have several 2 GB SD cards
