    Incorrect. Your maps can be safely moved to the microSD card.

    It is very simple.
    On your SD card:
    In the \Garmin folder create 2 folders named BirdsEye & CustomMaps
    Move the files from the same named folders on your GPS to those new SD card folders.
    Done.
    Now you will have all the space you need on your GPS for any tracklogs, waypoints etc.

    Thanks Scubadoo, and thanks to Giomen, that was it....the BirdsEye images (in the removable SD card were still recognized).
    Just for your records: I also removed all tracks AND WayPoints to the SD Card, (Garmin Folder, within the same folders), and surprise (for me): I also could still access Tracks, WayPoints. Thanks. Now I can start to record for many many days continuously...:Animated39::Animated39::Animated39:
