try .rgn not .gcd , I had the same with 1200 ,as you can read in the program thread.
with.rgn it works fine

I saw that about the two file types and I didn't really understand it. All I can find in my gps is a GCD file.
I understood that you could rename the files or Garmin used to have a rgn file but doesn't now or you have to find an easter egg to get the rgn from garmin or something?
On other message boards I can't stand people like me who just don't get it. But I gotta tell you, I don't understand if I should be looking for an rgn file or renaming the GCD file to an rgn or?????
