To see if the map is locked or not in GmapTool ,drag the img in it and look at the log, if it's locked you'll see the word locked in it
eg:
Btw BaseCamp & HomePort display locked .img maps.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
May be the sd isnt recognized.

Nuvi 3760 does not see unlocked map on sd card
Thanks for directions - & nope, can't find the word "locked" anywhere in the Gmaptool log - see attached. So does that mean its unlocked??
Also the Nuvi does appear to see the SD card - as it does recognize other data - ie it sees the poi file that I've loaded with speed cams????

Sorry to trouble you catymag - but out of desperation all I could think to do is try another sd card and THAT one works fine!!!!!!!
