@mbajing_deh
I may have confused you with this statement:
Navigasi is not loaded to the PC as a more modern 'gmap folder' type of PC Install, it's an 'older style' PC Install version formerly known only as a 'Mapsource [Install] Version' and both installed types are often still referred to today as that or BaseCamp Install/Version. However via MapSource or MapInstall both types are compiled into an image file meant for use directly on the device..... use MapInstall to load your second map as gmapsupp.img from a PC version [gmap folder] or use SendMap20 to load an already complied image file.
You cannot use SendMap20 to deal with PC Install versions. It's function is to load a previously fully compiled image file directly to the device as a secondary detail map [gmapsupp.img]. This is of particular use with older devices such as SP 2720 which do not allow files to be simply copied to the internal file system the way modern devices do. SendMap can also delete a secondary map from your 2720 to create more space for a larger primary map [gmapprom.img] to be then loaded using Garmin's map downloading software, i.e. GarminExpress or MapUpdater, or the command prompt method described on Page 1 here for 'unlocked' maps.
What's initially quite confusing to newer users is that the maps installed on the PC such as Navigasi have numerous *.img files contained in them. If you compare the file names of these with the 'map tile' names in the fully complied gmapsupp.img you will see that the names are the same. Open your Navigavi gmapsupp.img in GMAPTool, press 'Details' and you'll see what i mean.
This should no longer be confusing to you at all, after you read the Tutorials link proved by catymag.

Ok i got confused right now, so this is the step i do
-Install Basecamp 4.2.4 at Win7 64bit
-Install MapInstall and then patch both of them
-Plug my SP2720 on Laptop, and open Basecamp (it can detect my SP2720)
-Right click to Install map on SP2720,and MapInstall program running
-There was a message "No unlocked map were found for this device"
Is there any step that i missing ?
Where should i put those NavNet .img files so MapInstall can recognize it ?
It looks you haven't installed Navnet map on pc, run Navnet.exe.
You'd save a lot of time reading FAQ.![]()

Before i just copy .img files for garmin from my computer to laptop
right now ijust try to install it on laptop and still got that "No unlocked maps were found for this device" ?
i mean, in where directory should i install/ those .img files ?
because no other button that can i click to browse, just "find device" button
Download from here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
navnet_Garmin_v252-NT.exe
Run the .exe and install the map in Basecamp, map isn't locked. Run Mapinstall and transfer in gps.
Forget single pc install .imgs, these are parts of pc installation. You cant install that way, or at least, it needs some skills and Mapsetoolkit program.
Why don't you want to read FAQ and make things simple?

First screen shows installer to direct install in gps, (gmapsupp.img) not sure Street Pilot is supported ( it's not listed)
Mapinstall needs a pc installation to see and transfer it. Mapsource the same.

SP is supported Caty, i can run this map on both 2610 and 2720. Maybe with a step-by-step he will understand where he's gone wrong:
@mbajing_deh
You are either misunderstanding or not listening to what caymag is telling you repeatedly. You haven't installed the map as a PC Version. By selecting the second option after the Licence Agreement screen you are simply remaking the GMAPSUPP.IMG and copying over the one already previously made and saved to C:\MyMaps\navigasi\Garmin as clearly shown in your first Screenshot above. Go back to the start, run navnet_Garmin_v252-NT.exe again and at the following screen check the other option 'Install maps for MapSource application':
BTW, so that you can see which map you're viewing and have a dropdown selection box to change easily, in BC select 'View'>'Toolbars' and then check 'Map Products'. Also, your existing map images on the SP can't be seen if they have an MS Flag of '1'. It must be changed to '0' for maps to be seen on the unit by BC. Any map generated by MI will have a flag of '1' as will the GMAPSUPP.IMG made directly from the navnet exe. So if you wish to see them using BC you must take the previously compiled GMAPSUPP.IMG [C:\MyMaps\navigasi\Garmin\GMAPSUPP.IMG], change the flag using GMAPTool or ImgTool and load it using SendMap20 as i explained earlier.
