Using TMC in Garmin nuvi for free

thanks for the Jetmouse file.

this is what i found:
in TrafficProvider.xml in my Nuvi 3490 is this:

country name="Slovakia" cc="5" ecc="226"
providerName>Decell (SK)</providerName>
<pay>true</pay>

tuning ltn="51" sid="6"

means that:

Area = Slovakia
Provider = Decell (SK)
FID = 1286
PID = 51
RgnID = 51
VenID = 1

EDIT:
found the FID!
just tested to add it, it works. i did not tested it on the streets, my garmin did not found the TMC signal in a while - i haven't stayed out long enough, because it is cold.
so you can add SLOVAKIA CODES to the title page

I tried Slovakia code 1286, even though in Subscripitons I can see "Decell (SK)", TMC icon dissapeared and no TRAFFIC is shown at all. I have tried more times, but traffic did not work for me at all.

Tried the US code 131.0.0.1 for traffic on a Kenwood DNX691HD with Garmin Navigation and it works to give Total Traffic. This DNX691HD unit was designed by Kenwood and Garmin to mainly use the Garmin Smartphone Link through Bluetooth for traffic information (a $5 lifetime subscription) but the Smartphone Link worked sometimes and most of the time it did not work. Worse yet, after trying to add traffic through the code, I found that Smartphone Link would override the traffic info from the unit itself with no traffic information from Smartphone Link creating a gray traffic icon. Now that I have removed Smartphone Link from my phone apps, traffic info with the internal code has reliably worked.

I'm working on Portugal, ~~Romania~~ now and on DAB codes - if you have any working activation code for DAB in long format like this 6DAPPMUU6RVUUYC8DNVMZ885B pls share.

Neil, I've received confirmation about PL CE-Traffic licence that works . So we can mark it - that is valid. Still waiting for HR, RO confirmation, for Portugal we need anyone local with some kind of SDR.

Nice again. Please give a little more info on which code applies to which State/Territory or region, also can you confirm that AUNZ HERE Traffic is only available to devices from 2013> or smartphone linked devices?

according to my experience all required data to add sub to device and for reception is stored in map file (TRF segment), if device is able to work with mapfile should be able to add sub.
