Can you try the 1953, 17, 17, 1 it will accept the code but acquiring FM traffic is questioning.

your unit and this GTM cable worked before? To me it's look like not a correct subscription.

Yes, It all came together when I bought it. The green and orange lights work on the plug. The green stays on and the orange flickers.When I had the 3 month sub, it worked great. Now it seems that the person talking sends ya on a wild goose chase. Only thing I did was change map to 2012.10 and mess with this traffic to try to get it working. It originally had 2009 map on it. Thank you soooo much....spoc

Situation is quite odd:
Added the previous code, it showed Subscription added, also with the name Netstar Alltech...
Then its searching the providers and suddenly the subscription is gone, like I never typed it inside.
Not sure whether its related to the Firmware, or having CN South Africa and Garmap 2011 3rd Edition installed, or that both maps are unlocked.
