Thanks for the info. So MPC 11 can compiled this "natural guidance" data to be used in the device with that capability? Does MPC automatically figured it out or does the user have to specifically indicates it? From reading, it needs the following:
    1. Map with "natural guidance" data
    2. TTS3 voice capable of using the data
    3. Device allowing the ability (what is cheapest unit with ability?)

Other product like NNG had this capability for a long time and I tend to agreed with a user comment:
"After watching the video in the link you provided, I am now convinced I do NOT want this feature. I really don't want to guess what my GPS may tell me to turn next to, and then have to look for that landmark. I'd rather use a street name or route number, as those are easier to locate then a business or something else. As seen in the example video, if you have never been to that particular city, how would you know which building is the Performing Arts Center? I'd rather look for the street name than trying to find out what building is what. To me, it doesn't seem helpful to say to turn at a Carl Jr's which has been closed and now reopened as a Wendy's... Street names rarely change, if at all."

and I'm looking forward to "turn right into the lake."
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.

    That's the case.

Natural Guidance restrictions are created as driving restrictions. That is, before compiling, the user must add special additional attributes with data to the source shapefiles for each such location on the map.

Of modern models, for example, the cheap Drive 50 supports this feature:

    workflow is in german:
Von einer vorhandenen gmap-installation werden die TRE-subfiles benutzt zum auslesen der Kachelgrenzen, <koordinaten>.HGT -files
mssen vorhanden sein und Buildem liest/sucht sich die passenden HGT files raus und erzeugt ein DEM-subfile.

Latest Mkgmap supports creating map with DEM data from HGT files.
    Checkout new options:
    --x-dem, --x-dem-dists, --x-overview-dem-dist, --x-dem-poly

    Hi!
IMG maps made by SASPlanet work very well in my Garmin 66sr but... the map is visible only up to a certain zoom level, going further, the map disappears and reappears again, only by going back with the zoom.
Is it possible with SAS Planet to create maps that can be used at any zoom level?

    @caddis,

I think the question could better be answered at the SAS Plantet.
