Excuse me, I didn't understand the question at first. Unfortunately, I can't think of an easy solution. Seems a separate function needs to be written in MapBasic. That is what I can think of at the moment.

BTW feel free to open a separate topic regarding this question. Think the solution of this problem will be interesting to many people.
