I see. I suppose there is a problem transferring the attribute information of the main polyline(one-way street) to the splitted polylines. The only thing I can think of is to do it manually. Don't know someone may have a better idea. I am using MapInfo and there is such a function and no problem with it. I can split polyline into polylines and the information is kept.

I am not able to use Mpc_viewer, when I click the open mapsource product, Error display "c:\project\mpcviewer\win\Win_Regkey.h line:480"

Unfortunately, I don't have MapInfo on the PC I am at the moment. Sorry, about that. Next time I will be more prepared. But here what I remember. Hope I understand the question right. Just select the polyline with the mouse after that use CTRL+R and all the vertexes should appear. Then click the right button of the mouse and search for the function "edit object" and "split polyline". Than tap over the vertex where you want to split the polyline.

Excuse me, I didn't understand the question at first. Unfortunately, I can't think of an easy solution. Seems a separate function needs to be written in MapBasic. That is what I can think of at the moment.

BTW feel free to open a separate topic regarding this question. Think the solution of this problem will be interesting to many people.
