Hi Midnight Blues,
Well, at this time I did not install the HEXelon MAX 6 on my PC. From it's website I see it is a freeware, so you never had to use a patch or keygen. In most cases, the reason why such applications try to connect to the internet is that they look for an update or a new version. This can be confirmed if you can de-select this feature in the Configuration of the tool.
Well if your application has updates disabled and do not need to get any information from the internet, then it's a curious behavior. This might be a Trojan. Although not all Trojan are harmful, this is surely an un-vanted function from the end user point of view. I would block it on my Firewall.
However, if this behavior (trying to connect on the internet) is coming from a Patch or Keygen, there is a 100 % chance that you face a Trojan ... which my might be harmful because its owner is unknown.
Cheers.![]()

Well it looks like on the web site of HEXelon MAX 6, they say :
"Exchange rates table and currency converter are update from Internet by one click"
This may be the reason why it is seeking an internet connection when it starts ...
