Thread: CoPilot 9.6.2.706 Cyprus(9.6.2.710) - WORKING

UPDATE POST WITH NECESSARY FIXES

Hi Everyone
Here is a working CoPilot version 9.6.2.807 with Cyprus Map (from Copilot 9.6.2.710).

1) Download the CYPILOT.zip , filescy.zip and pic.zip.

2) Extract "CYPILOT.zip" and first install "CoPilot_Live_Premium_Europe_v9.4.0.144.apk"

3) After install open wifi and Copilot. You should see a screen like below.



4) Make a new fake account.



5) Continue all step until it want to download map. Close the app (Don't download anything)



6) Extract "filescy.zip" and "pic.zip" (you should see 3 folders, EU,Speech and pic). Copy them to folder "com.alk.copilot.eumarket.premiumeupan" in your internal memory.
In the same folder copy the "user.cfg" to your PC,open with wordpad (not notepad) and add these lines after [Directories].

"ALKSpeedsDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/alkspeeds/"
"CitiesDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/cities/"
"InrixSpeedsDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/ntspeeds/"
"LRGeoDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/places/"
"LRGridDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/data"
"LRSaveDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/save/"
"PADir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/pa/"
"PolyDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/polygons/"
"SpeedlimitDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/speedlimit/"
"TMCDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/tmc/"

REMEMBER to change "storage/emulated/0" to be the same as the other in this file, unless its not going to work.

7. Now start the app. It should work without any problem as picture.



YOU CAN USE IT NOW WITHOUT A PROBLEM. IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE TO LATEST VERSION CONTINUE TO STEP 8

8)Install "CoPilot.GPS.v.9.6.2.807.apk"
After install open wifi and Copilot. You should see a screen like below.



9) Logging with the same account you create before.



10)Continue all step until it want to download map. Close the app (Don't download anything).
Extract "filescy.zip" and "pic.zip" (you should see 3 folders, EU, Speech and pic). Copy them to folder "com.alk.copilot.mapviewer" in your internal memory.

11. Now go to System Settings and clear all data.



12. start the app. It should work without MAP NOT FOUND problem.

NOTE: On most kikat the internal storage is /storage/emulated/0/. Although some or older Versions use different path. You have to change the path in step 6 and 10.
Example
"AddonDir"="/storage/emulated/0/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/addon/"
change to
"AddonDir"="/mnt/internal_sd/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/addon/"
or
"AddonDir"="/mnt/sdcard/com.alk.copilot.mapviewer/EU/addon/"
or .......................
Change all the [Directories]

Tested on LGG3(4.4.2), LG optimus 3D(4.04) and my car android navigator(4.4.4).
