Have you got the FULL EU map loaded? Also an EU locale selected and in .System/ASR either English_xxxx.srd or en_XX.srd [speech recogniton data file] depending on unit [best to say which model you have] along with the applicable EN TTS voice and text file. Would be best also to say if the message was only on-screen or also spoken, as some of that would be ruled out if it's both. See this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

The most probably you try use to find address in other region then UK and Ireland. This voice command is suitable only in specific area.

Hi Neil & Giomen, Thanks, it says it in voice and in text on the screen, I can access favorites and anything else with voice command but not find address or anything that has location searches in it. I have copied files as I have always done in the past, my asr folder has English and a few others in there also, I cannot do anything on the Garmin program when installed it still thinks i have the original maps that it came with. The model is a 2460 but will confirm that tonight (confirmed). I have tried the asr files and the 37xx asr files with maps from two different sites and get the same thing, I only replaced the files I needed to.

On my 1490 i have 3D maps loaded on my sd card but it does not display
JCV works flawless

1490 cannot use gmap3d.img (just delete it from your sd card)
(No 3d buildings feature on all of 1xxx series)

So I updated firmware and English files with express updater and still no dice, I have the asr 1 files in at the moment with the English_British.srd are these correct or are they corrupt?

UPDATE!!
I used the map by mafozi (thanks) and the 23xx 37xx asr files with british danl voice and it seems to work fine now.

It is work but without 3D (only planar contours) and unfortunately these polygons covers and makes invisible the all of others objects on map.

Do you scan for CNRUNT? Foursquare have got some coverage in Russia...
