All JCV files go in in System hidden directory in JCV folder
ASR files must be in .System folder in ASR Folder
    G2S Path is .System\G2S
    trafficTrends" files .db Path: .System\SQLite\

All should work fine: every map must find its own file and Nuvi will cope with them

PS : I moved your post here in the right thread

Got a question here, I converted my 3670 to 3490, downloaded 4 SID files namely D2656050A.SID, D3398020A.SID, D3157030A.SID and D3406020A.SID does these 4 files go to SID folder in the .\system\SID folder?, just wondering because its a little big about 1gig.

in 34xx they go in .System/SID folder-
When you have doubts about files paths ,look at your GarminDevice.xml in Garmin folder

Hi Catymag, I've noticed that some files and types within GarminDevice.xml are declared to be "externalizable" on SD. Here is an example
    <File><Specification><Identifier>JCV</Identifier></Specification><Location><Path>.System/JCV</Path><FileExtension>jcv</FileExtension><Extensions><dtlx:DataTypeLocationExtension><dtlx:ExternalPath>Garmin/JCV/</dtlx:ExternalPath></dtlx:DataTypeLocationExtension></Extensions></Location><TransferDirection>InputOutput</TransferDirection></File>
I'd like to know if the same technique can be applied to externalize other map-dependent files such as ASR, SID and SQLLite.

    Any thoughts?

    Regards,
    Rodrigo
